Chichester Conservation Commission
Minutes of Meeting
September 8, 2008
Members present: Bob Mann, Jeff Andrews, Zach Boyajian, and Secretary Jamie Pike.
Mr. Mann called the meeting to order at 7:04pm.
Review of Minutes and Correspondence
The minutes of August 11, 2008 were reviewed and approved as written. All correspondence and Board of Selectmen minutes were also reviewed. The wetland restoration plan for MTS Environmental was received.
Ferman Conservation Easement
The Conservation Commission is waiting for the final documents to be amended and prepared for signature.
Marsh Pond Dam
Mr. Pike announced that Merrimack County Conservation District funding may be available in January for the planning phases of a reconstruction project. Such funding would be provided by the Department of Environmental Services ìIn Lieuî fees.
Land Management
Mr. Boyajian reported that there will be a meeting on September 17th of special interest groups to discuss the trail system leading from the School to the Carpenter Park.
Long Range Planning
There shall be a goal setting meeting of the Commission held on October 13, 2008.
High-Value Wetlands Study
The study shall be presented to the Planning Board at their next regularly scheduled meeting on October 2, 2008.
The next meeting of the Commission will be on October 13, 2008. Being no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 7:58pm.
